The coaching process

Making a decision about coaching is daunting; Do I really need it? Who’s the best person to work with? Is now the right time?… The best way to answer these questions is by starting – talk to a range of coaches and be guided by how you respond. Be willing to change course as the process unfolds.

I offer a no cost, 45min call to support prospective clients with this decision. This gives me a sense of whether I can offer meaningful support to the client’s situation, and allows the client to gauge compatibility. 

The work typically begins with an engagement of 6 months, usually including a structured 360 data collection process (this provides cover for any blind spots that would otherwise not enter the conversation). This is the minimum recommended time for meaningful change to take place. 

The cadence, length of sessions, review periods, etc are all tailored to suit the needs of the client. Between sessions, I send material to prompt reflection and support growth.
